Refund policy

At The Cake Cottage, we take great pride in creating handcrafted, made-to-order cakes. Since all our cakes are freshly baked and customized specifically for each customer, we generally do not accept returns once the order has been delivered.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders cancelled 48 hours before the delivery date will receive a full refund. Orders cancelled 24 hours before the delivery date will receive a 50% refund. Orders cancelled less than 24 hours before delivery are not eligible for any refund. Custom and wedding cake orders cancelled less than 72 hours before delivery are not eligible for any refund.

REFUND ELIGIBILITY

You may be eligible for a refund if the cake was damaged upon delivery, if the cake was incorrect in terms of flavour, size, or design, if the cake was not delivered on the promised date or time, or if the cake quality was significantly different from what was ordered.

HOW TO CLAIM A REFUND

Contact us within 2 hours of receiving the cake. Send clear photos of the cake showing the issue on WhatsApp or email us at srivastavalovely413@gmail.com. We will review your request and respond within 24 hours.

REFUND PROCESS

Once your refund is approved, it will be processed within 5 to 7 business days and returned to your original payment method. UPI and bank transfer refunds may take 2 to 3 additional business days.

NON REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

We do not offer refunds for change of mind after delivery, incorrect delivery address provided by the customer, customer not available at the time of delivery, damage caused after delivery, or complaints raised after 2 hours of delivery.

CUSTOM AND WEDDING CAKES

A 50% advance payment is required to confirm all large custom and wedding cake orders. This advance is non-refundable if the order is cancelled within 72 hours. Any changes to the design must be requested at least 48 hours before delivery.
